This Saturday Jessica is helping raise money for The Art Institute in Fort Lauderdale during their Synergy Art and Music Festival. Jessica, along with Gloria Estefan, Venus Williams, Jeff Conine and Paris Hilton designed and decorated different articles of clothing that will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going towards the school's scholarship program. On Friday, Jessica tweeted to wish nephew Bronx, the son of sister Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy guitarist Pete Wentz, a happy first birthday:
“Happy Birthday to my precious angel on earth!!! Bronx is 1 today!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I can't believe it has been a year already.”

I'm a fan because...Jess just seems like someone you would want to be your friend. Alot of the things she has gone through in her life, seem to hit a chord with me. I respect her for being such a strong person. Yea, sure she is beautiful & talented- but her personality just makes her seem like the girl next door.
