I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...unlike the other rising pop singers of her time like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilara, Jessica Simpson wanted to portray another side of the music industry in hollywood. Instead of wearing "sexy" outfits and showing skin on her cd covers like her record label wanted her to, Jessica Simpson firmly told them how she wanted to send a different message to her peers- To just be able to sing and have people love her without bearing skin- .Also, when she didnt make the mickey mouse club..most people would have quit on the spot, but Jessica kept at it. Her lyrics are extremely powerful, shes naturally beautiful, and can laugh at herself!Her love and commitment has been such an inspiration and i can honestly say she is my role model.
