I previously posted a reply regarding Jessica Simpson's lack-lustered performance at Operation MySpace but appearantly it was deleted. She was the "headliner" of the event and she was the last performer to "take the stage". A group of Soldier's drove over 2 hours to see the show. She conducted her interview from the crowd, which posed a problem as she is rather short and you couldnt even see her. Then she continually let the crowd know that she has a boyfriend. Yes, we get it already, we all know. She began by singing her infamous song from Top Gun (which we have all heard 1,000 times) and then one of her hit songs. Her voice was suffering from an ailment so she let the crowd sing the last 2 patriotic songs for her. She was bundled up more than an eskimo would be. I had really been looking forward to hearing her display her talents but wound-up very disappointed. I was hoping to be able to go home and brag to my daughter that I saw and heard Jessica Simpson live, but I am afraid that I still have not been able to do neither. Word is that is cost close to 150K for all the expenses involved in her coming to Kuwait. Yet another example of money not very well spent. The crowd was chanting for his sister as they felt that Ashley would have provided more entertainment than Jessica was able to bring to the table. Sorry, but this should not be censored only to provide accolades to Ms. Simpson. People should also get to hear about disappointing experiences as well.

Gosh, I'm dying here. I really want to be there. But I live here in Finland, so.......................................... AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGH!

I am currently stationed at Buehring Kuwait and can't attend as I have to work at the time Jessica will be here. I also found out the military will be blocking the web cast. :(
