Jessica Simpson Moving One Step Closer to Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood is the ultimate American idol success story. She is very talented still humble and for the most part gets press for her talents instead of her wild life. Jessica Simpson certainly has had her successes, but it is an easy argument to say she is in quite the rut. Since splitting from her now ex husband Nick Lachey over two years ago, Jessica has fallen off the charts and her film efforts have struggled. She is now routinely lampooned.

But now she is moving in on the Carrie Underwood success model to try and rebuild her image. She is now dating Carrie's ex, Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Tony Romo, and will now make her move out of the pop tart music genre towards country music. Will this really work?

She says she is from Texas so the move to country music makes a whole lot of sense. I'm not certain that is exactly what it will take and Nashville is loaded with female stars and it might be a very crowded field for Jessica to compete in. Carrie already rules country music and there are outstanding up and coming stars there like 17-year old Taylor Swift.

Then again, American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler has had success with her move to Nashville so anything can happen. Can Jessica make it as a country singer and complete her

Jessica why are you really doing this album. Its seems so obvious that you cant stand to lose.
Your making of fool out of yourself. You over exposed yourself and didnt take the right steps.
Please, why dont you try to go Gospel/Christian pop.. Besides didnt you say that was where your roots were before you turned pop. I can see you making great inspirational soulful songs with an up tempo. That would be the path you need to follwoing. And as a fan clean up your act. your looks.
Its seems as you like to draw alot of attention to your physical being. Maybe, thats who you really are. But, If you are seriously seeking a way. Dont copy Carrie Underwood because Tony Romo, really liked her. She in reality is a better pick for him. Be honest with yourself.
I am really just 1 fan. But, I am starting to give up as a fan.

I believe you can really take a different road with your music.
