This was the first album that I got of Jess. I heard 2 songs from her Sweet Kisses album. This is when I fell in love with her voice. I could hear the passion in her songs. I wanted to sing like her & be her for she not only has a stunning voice but she is gorgeous in & out. My favourite songs are "When you told me you loved me" & "To fall in love again". This CD was stolen out of my car along with "In this skin". I was devastated for Jess kept me company to work everyday- I would sing on the top of my voice.
Keep going strong Jess & remember you are a jewel in God's eyes. - mine too!!

I really love A Little Bit and Hot Like Fire. I thought that the A Little Bit video was good. I don't see why that it didn't make the top 100 (which it should've. Why, Idk) that it was the last single for Irresistable. Hot Like Fire should've been a single too. A video with a storyline of a cheatin' bf would've made a great vid. (Maybe a soap opera special?)
i am 15 years and i am in 9th grade i also have a boyfriend and his name is james riddle what i do for a living i babysit for my aunt dodie and i aslo work at blackrock speedway in dundee but not for long because i am moving to alabama and may30 is my last day of school
Though the CD was filled with sadder songs it also had a good dose of upbeat songs and I loved the ending song....It was a perfect way to end an album.
The only song from this album and my ALL TIME FAVORITE song that I absolutely LOVE is "For Your Love." I want to sing this song for my wedding, but can't find the music for it. It's such a beautiful melody with powerful lyrics. I believe every word of it and live by them as well.
I love it when JS sings ballads. I think it exposes how strong, powerful, and beautiful her voice is. And sometimes simple is better; it doesn't always have to be sooooooo OMG! I play guitar and sometimes the simplest most beautifull-est songs are played on powerchords. ***Oopsies, I just pulled a JS. lol (beautifull-est!)
to be honest i was a little dissapointed that the record company was trying to make her something she isn't but i'm still very happy with the result.. my favorite song i a little bit. the songs were catchy and ahe even did a duet with spanish senation marc anthony. songwriters on the album included:Kara dioguardi,Nick Lachey,cory rooney, and,rodney "darkchild"jerkins. NICE JOB JESSICA!

i cant possibly tell you how much i love this cd. i remember sitting in my room listining to the radio hearing the single irresistable for the first time on the radio, and thinking my girl is back this is a hot song. and it STILL IS a hot song, along with the amazing power ballads on the cd that could make me fall inlove with the most random person while listining to this song.
and who can deny hot like fire? is that not just the hottest song? everytime i hear that song it gets me pumped up.
i love the mix in music, and the amazing duet with jessica and marc anthony..which i have decided will be my wedding song i dance to.
im not sure wheter this cd or jessicas first cd is my favorite...it would be very hard to decide.

I love Irresistable cos I think it really shows of Jess's voice thru all different genres of music. You got dance, pop, r&b, gospel on there and of course her trademark power ballads, which I think are some of her best ballads yet on this album. Her label tried to pressure her to be more sexy and thin, which was stupid! Jess, we all love you the way you are!!! You don't need to change at all!

I think one of the main reasons that this album wasn't more successful was that the record company tried to give Jessica a sexy image in order to replicate the success of Britney Spears and it didn't really suit her personality. The quality of the songs is great, there are many strong ballads and pop / r'n'b tracks that are a lot edgier than the sound of Jessica's first album. I really like the lead single 'Irresistible', but then 'A Little Bit' came out with one of the worst videos I've ever seen and after that there wasn't a third single release. If one of the ballads had been released to radio, I think it would have been a very different story. This is still a great pop album and I enjoy listening to it.
Another amazing album from Jessica Simpson. I brought it straight away, as I did with the others. I love this album as it has a mixture of sounds. I love the duet with Mark Anthony. Jessica really showed off her beautiful, radiant, strong, powerful voice. It is a real girly album which I love. If this album wasn’t released around the same time as 9/11 I think it would have done a lot better than it did. This album is great and has some catchy tunes. I absolutely loved it!!!

Why o why was this not promoted in the way it should have been?
There isn't a bad song on this album, it is truly amazing, Jessica has a fantastic voice and she can sing with any emotion.
I love the upbeat tracks like 'hot like fire' and 'whats it gonna be'.
The love ballads are truly amazing, 'When you told me you loved me' and the one with Marc Anthony are beautiful.
I love this album sooo much, and i don't think people are aware of it, they are missing out.
Buy this album, every girl needs it in her collection.
I play this all the time, Jessica you are true inspiration, a great person, God bless.
