You forgot your first love girl - Jesus Christ
Jessica,
You started in gospel and it was the catalyst that took off your singing career. Please get back to the Christian music and God will either fix this with Tony or find you a new man. The enemy is on the attack and he wants to kill, steal and destroy. At every turn he is attacking finances, family, relationships. God has special plans for you....

people love themselves more than god and wish to dwell in the heaven , thats so impossible, lol

You know what, just because you behave a certain way doesn't mean that's who you are. Jess might have said & done things that were questionable to the Christian faith but that does not mean that is who she is. Yes, I am a christian & I have also struggled on my journey with the Lord. There are so many people putting peer pressure on you that you end up doing the wrong thing. It's hard, but I am still true in my heart & I try to do better the next time - through God who gives me strength. Jessica is only human, we all stumble & fall.
Jess
As long as you remember your first love (God) & keep coming back to Him. He is a gracious God & loves you even more than we do (as impossible as that sounds). Listen to His voice. If he wants you to sing country, that's what you do. If He wants you to release a christian album, do it. As long as you are obedient to Him, He will make your life as success to Him & you, no one else. (That's just an extra blessing if it is to everyone else)
Love you Jess
I would love to meet you one day. If not here on earth most definately in heaven.

I know that you know ... just as I do, when we have gained a few pounds or are just enjoying life. We don't need others to point out what we know. We don't need to squeeze ourselves into what society has deemed an appropriate weight.
Nice article, very helpful. Thanks!

I am pleased that Jessica has broken away from her Christian gospel roots and embraced the more accessible country and pop genres of music.
There are plenty of non-Christian fans of Jessica who find her music country and popular music comforting and alluring. Why should Jessica'feel compelled to limit her music to Christian themes that do not resonate with non-Christian fans?.
I am Jewish, and if Jessica returned to singing exclusively Christian gospel songs, I would feel that she would be depriving her non-Christian fans, like myself, of her tremendous talent. I am glad that she has branched out to reach a broader audience with her lovely music.
Please continue to "Take My Breath Away, Jessica!"

(hi everybody!)
"Simpson Shies Away from Christian Roots (WENN2005)
Blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson has abandoned her strict Christian upbringing, admitting she rarely goes to church or reads the bible anymore. The Dukes Of Hazzard star launched her career on the Christian music circuit - backed by her Baptist minister father Joe...But her current Hollywood lifestyle has little in common with her Southern Baptist childhood. She says, "Me and my family got out of that and came to LA. To see all forms of meditation and prayer made me less judgmental.""
This is why Jessica won't have a long career. She can't keep her story straight. When she first came out she talked about her faith and how she wanted to be a role model and not wear revealing clothes, blah, blah. Her next CD comes out where she has a sheer top and it looks like she is feeling herself up and she starts dancing to all her songs. She clearly looked uncomfortable.
In This Skin - She says she is going back to what she loves and that her record label made her do all the dancing and it's "not who I really am."
Newlyweds - The show becomes popular and the Simpsons constantly say "This is the REAL Jessica."
That fades and Jessica says in numerous interviews that she was just playing a character and she really isn't that dumb. Sadly she still plays that character.
Public Affair- She decides to go back to pop music...her real love and who she really is. When that fails she decides she really is country now. What the heck! That album has tanked so who will she be next? She has no clue that is her problem. She tries to conform to whatever she thinks will work at the moment.
Agree. And she is always like "God bless you guys"!

I hope you know how much I Iove you. You are huge part of me and my life, I've learned so much from you. You inspire me to be who I am and to do stuff that I love to do. No one can ever ever realise how much I actually love you. XOXO
She hasn't forgotten God. She mentioned God in her recent concert in Grand Rapids. She said that she gains strength from God...she had a difficult time at this concert (you could barely tell, but the media is highlghting this one piece, when her concert was AMAZING. Although I'd love to hear Christian songs, she is touching a LOT more people through country right now...may God bless her path with more peace....

I know she hasn't forgotten God. She sings about God. "Pray Out Loud" for example. :-) I think she is in a good place now, and she is a country girl from the bottom of her heart so countrymusic is definitely a right thing for her to do now. That's my opinion. :-)
