This is how eating disorders are made!!!!!
This has made me literally sick to my stomach! I am so mad! I am currently a year away from obtaining my Bachelors Degree in behavioral science and human services so that I can work with kids and teens who find themselves victims of eating disorders. I am not saying at all that this is Jessica's fate but one only needs to look at the sad case of Karen Carpenter and many other beautiful men and women in the spotlight to see how serious this is. Jessica is an absolute beauty! She is in noway even slightly overweight! This is the kind of things that devastate people, I am just at a loss for words! Jessica if you read these please please know that you have millions of people who love you and do not think for one second you need to change anything about you! Whoever got this going and the disgusting media outlets who continued the story should be ashamed of themselves! We all love you Jess, you are beautiful inside and out!

I'm trying to understand why when she needs something promoted she comes out in bikinis and its o.k. for us to drool over her body but now we can't critize her weight because its hurtful she's a spoiled brat who doesn't respect herself and is such a bad influence for young girls. Love yourself before you ask to be loved.
If Jessica is soooooooo talented, why is her career going nowhere????
I think Jessica looks great.Too much hype over a few pounds.
It is terrible, what is being said about her! She is not fat, and even if she were, why does the media feel that they must criticize celebrities for every little thing? Famous people have feelings too, and they need to take this into account. I'm sure they would be upset if hese kind of things were being said about them!
Jessica, I don't know if you read these posts, but please don't let these jerks get to you! You are beautiful, amazingly talented, and a great person! And remember that you have SO MANY fans out there who love and support you!!!

I agree. It is awful what is going on. The message the media is sending over and over again is that if you gain ANY weight they are going to tear you to shreds. This is a very powerful message for teenagers. It is not surprising that eating disorders are so common place now.
Just for the record I am 5ft 1, weigh 92lbs, have always been skinny no matter what I eat. I have had total strangers come up to me and ask me if I have an eating disorder. I had a woman in a restaurant yell at me because I was eating a salad.. She didn't know I ate two plates of chilli earlier. I don't have an eating disorder, I am just small. So it goes both ways. The western world is obssessed with weight.
I am 46 years old and I only signed up so that I could write a post for Jessica because I am so sickened by the media too.
