I have never posted to a fan club or been a member before...

I was sent your video "Remember That" and almost fell over. It was honest and open and about abuse. The person who shared it has been in an abusive marriage and so have I. I just wanted to ask if you have prayed about speaking out...I have been in an abusive marriage and have children with him...I know it is hard to do. I also want to tell you, Thank You! for me and all the abused women who have shared this song and been validated and encouraged by it.

I hope to become a part of a movement to spread the truth about abuse - how painful and destructive it is and how it comes in many different forms (verbal, emotional). We need to be outraged at all abuse not just the physical abuse. My hope is that women and young girls will be educated so they won't walk into an abusive relationship and if they do, they won't just stay and be hurt over and over.
