I was at Cowboys (Local Country Club) and the live band actually played her song! The minute it started I knew it was Jessica's song... such a unique beginning, so awesome!
I was so shocked and thrilled that bands have already started learning and playing it! Jessica should be SO proud that her country song is doing well!!! Just wanted to say keep up the good work and I can't WAIT to hear the album!

Keep in mind that no matter what people say, as long as you are true to yourself and you are proud of who you are... then WHO CARES! You have only to please YOU... and the only person who can judge you God! So let people run their mouths, you'll find out fast who your true friends and fans are!
It takes a long while to really come to terms with the person you are and want to be, I'm 31 and just figured out recently who I really am, and I learn more everyday! You are ever changing, so even if you make mistakes, tomorrow is a new day and you can reinvent yourself again! I can't believe how hard people are on celebrities... I'm sure their lives would look MUCH worse if every day was broadcast to the world. Everyone is free to make their own decisions, to change their minds, to change their lives, and to make mistakes and learn from them. As long as you can tell yourself "Oops" and move on, then life can only get better! Never berate yourself or let other people belittle you... YOU are YOU and there's only one! No one can live YOUR life better than YOU! ;-)

Firstly I apologize to the real Jessica Simpson fans who come here to discuss her music and other Simpson related agenda. I will admit I am not really a fan of her music, it's not what I listen to, but the behavior of Cowboy fans disgusts me.

Nice article, very helpful. Thanks!

Jessica, you're my everything! And you you will ALWAYS be!!
Biggest fan of yours ! LOVE YA!

Bands will play it because (a) it is a good song and (b) people like it.

If Jess wants to seriously make the move into country, then she needs to accept that there will be resistance in some quarters. The same happens to every person who attempts to make the switch between genre. There's no doubt that Jessica is good enough. It's up to her to make it work. Too many people forget that when Bob Dylan first made the change from acoustic to an electric guitar, audiences booed him bigtime before eventually coming to realise that it was still Bob Dylan in all his brilliance.
